5 Creative Things Your Kids Can Do with Your Hair Rollers
by bentleyboutique ~ June 20th, 2009. Filed under: Family, Kids and Teens. One day when my boys were about 5 years old, Nathan found these velcro hair rollers that I never used, and said, “Look mom, binoculars!”

Then he said, “Look mom, it’s a spy gun!”

Next it was “Look mom, I’m George Washington!”

Then Mickey Mouse got his turn:

Ok, I was a little worried at first when he came up with this pose, but then he said, “Look mom, I’m a muscle man!”

I am a crafty (and somewhat crazy) WAHM of 15 year old twin boys. My boys and crafting are my passions, so this blog is dedicated to mom stuff and all things crafty.

lol. fun post idea.
haha, that is so cute!
I can’t wait till my son gets big enough to do these things. I am sure he will.
Very creative & funny! How many adults would come up with that many uses for one item?
Happy SITS feature Day!
I think I like the George Washington best!
Stopping by from SITS – Happy SITS Day!
Funny! Makes you wonder why we spend so much money on toys
when they really enjoy the things we already have just as much!!!
That’s so funny. Love the last one. If it’d been my girls
they would have put them under their shirts! LOL Happy
SITS day to you!
You could probably sell those rollers all neatly packaged up, give them a fancy name,
and make some money. It’s amazing how little kids need to inspire
themselves creatively. My daughters imagination is a constant source
of inspiration for me.
George Washington! Hahaha!
Those are really cute pics too.
Makes it hard to throw anything out when you imagine all the fun things you can do!
Very funny. Kids don’t need much to be creative or have fun, do they?
Those photos are so adorable. I remember using my mom’s
curlers in an attempt to have Princess Leia’s hair buns.
So fun! Children have such creativity.
That’s too funny!
Haha! Too cute. I love the way kids make great things out
of the simplest things.
hahha! the muscle man wins hands-down! Isn’t it great when some
someone shows you their point of view. We really do see
things differently. thanks for sharing your son with us.
cute! love the whole spread. the boys must love working with you on photo projects like this.
Muscle man? Are you sure?

That’s the great thing about kid’s…they have a vivid imagination! That’s why it’s so important to keep encouraging them to imagine.
Kids can come up with the most unusal comments! Happy SITS day!
the best toys are usually not toys!
That is hysterical!
