Candy Bouquets for Karate Birthday Party and Teacher Gifts
by bentleyboutique ~ July 28th, 2009. Filed under: Back to School, Classes and Projects, Craft Projects, Kids and Teens, birthday, candy bouquet, home decor, karate, party favors, personalized gifts. My last post on the bubble gum bouquet sent me searching for photos of candy bouquets that I made a few years ago. Just wanted to show you that you can customize them for any occassion.
First up is a sucker bouquet, made for a first grade teacher. The flowers were printed on the computer, laminated, and cut out. I cut out the faces from photos, using a circle cutter, and glued them to the flowers. Hiding behind each flower is a sucker. I used a recycled small coffee can for the base.

Second up is a candy bouquet that I made for my sons’ karate instructors. It was part of their birthday karate party when they were 7 years old. (That’s a whole ‘nother post full of birthday ideas… will get to that later).
The base is a recycled can wrapped in white fabric and tied with a black felt belt. The candy consists of mini hershey bars wrapped in karate themed wrappers, as well as some suckers with karate clip art in front. Green cellophane is sprinkled in for color.

Have you made any candy bouquets? Please feel free to share:)

I am a crafty (and somewhat crazy) WAHM of 15 year old twin boys. My boys and crafting are my passions, so this blog is dedicated to mom stuff and all things crafty.

So cute!! I’ve added this to my Tin Can Crafts roundup today
Thanks so much and have a great day!

Thank you for the compliment! The bouquet was indeed for the end of the year party. I have tons of teacher gifts that I’ve made through the years that I plan to post to the blog, so stay tuned! Maybe you can use some of the ideas. I have teacher printable notecards here: http://bentleyboutique.com/craftblog/2009/05/12/schools-almost-out-its-time-to-think-about-teacher-gifts/
