It seemed apparent that he was homeless, and my heart went out to him. Instead of ringing the doorbell, he managed to balance himself on our window ledge, vocally announcing his presence.  I tried to invite him in, but he seemed frightened and refused.

He did agree to stay for dinner, however, but insisted that he eat on the ledge.

After 3 days of living on our window ledge, I managed to coax him inside. He was very frightened at first, but soon warmed up to us.  A trip to the vet revealed that he is a healthy little guy with (treatable) ear mites and a slight eye infection. He went about a week without a name.

The bad news is that one of my sons is very allergic to cats, so I’m trying to find sweet little Tiger a new home. If he stays with us, he will have to be mostly an outdoor cat, which would make me sad because he is such a cuddlebug.
